Junhao (Mike) Zhu
I am a first-year M.S. in Computer Science student at Georgia Tech (machine learning specialization). I received my B.S. in Computer Science from NYU Shanghai in 2026, with a minor in Interactive Media Arts. I am currently a member of the Trustworthy Autonomous Systems Lab (TASL) at Georgia Tech.
My current focus is on world models and multi-agent perception for autonomous driving. Before that, my research centered on diffusion-based language models and understanding the mechanics behind generative modeling. I have worked with Prof. Shengjie Wang and Prof. Hongyi Wen on discrete diffusion, vector quantization, and coherence-aware evaluation.
